VINA Community
Dental Center
Vision. Integrity. Need.
Action.
Our Mission
Statement: To provide quality, affordable dental
care to Livingston County residents with limited finances
and little to no access to dental care while upholding the
professional standards of dentistry in a concerned and compassionate
way.
The VINA Community Dental Center of Livingston County, Michigan,
a non-profit outreach facility, will give people access
to dental care and dental education. Uniting people in the
area, VINA will improve quality of life through better oral
health, promoting dental care seeking behaviors and elevating
prevention awareness.

There is strength in numbers
and we are looking for
One
Hundred (or more) Women
who care
Have
you ever wanted to make a significant impact in our community
without any strings attached, but you may not have the financial
wherewithal or the time to do so? If you answered yes, you will
be interested in joining 100 Livingston
County Women Who Care!
100 Women Who Care is a new group of women who are interested
in supporting our local community in Livingston County by contributing
to local charities together as a unit to increase the impact.
We come from all walks
of life and different financial backgrounds. As individuals it
is difficult to make a very large impact, but as a group we believe
we have the ability to contribute to the growth of our community
in ways that we never before thought possible.

We
encourage 100 women or more to commit to our group. Commitment
involves attending four, one hour meetings a year and pledging
$100 per meeting ( $400.00 per year).
At each meeting, an opportunity
is provided for three members of the group to present a five (5)
minute explanation of a local organization or agency in need.
- There is a Q&A time before
vote.
- A vote is taken
- The winner is announced. Each of the 100 women
writes a check to the winning agency.
- The meeting ends. The agency or organization
receives at least $10,000!
The next meeting the organization
tells us how the money was used and what impact it had to the
community and the agency.
How much more powerful can
100 or more women be? Together, we can significantly impact the
many local organizations and agencies devoted to improving lives.
Please come and bring a friend
with " no obligation" to see how you can get involved!
